Exponential Design for the Moonshot Mission

‘Moonshot’ in the ambitious sense means an action or a plan to do the impossible task, to reach the impossible dream, to go countless extra miles to the moon and make it all possible. SCB 10X is a holding company under SCBX, with a “Moonshot Mission” to create long-term value through exponential technologies, innovations, and investment via two main pillars of Venture Capital and Venture Building. To create the visual identity for such cutting-edge character, we use the crescent moon to represent the moonshot mission in the most tangible manner. And with the company’s mission in hatching young entrepreneur dreams as well as searching for business and innovation alliance to assist young talents on their ways to be the unicorn; the number 10 is viewed as a binary digits which is used in coding the text, or any two-symbol system data that drives our digital era. As with the shape of OX, when seen horizontally, it can signify the people, the creator, which is always the heart of everything. Lastly, X alone is mathematical symbol of multiply, when viewing together with 10X, it implies that the exponential growth is never out of reach, as long as people stick together side by side.
