Accessible news (paper) research

It is universally known that good economic policymaking is grounded on sound and comprehensive economic research. For Thailand, a major obstacle for achieving such purpose has always been lacking policy-relevant knowledge base, due to lack of a “common space” for academics and researchers. To close this gap, Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research (PIER) was founded by BOT (Bank of Thailand) to provide that much-needed common space for the research community. Therefore, its official website that we develop as a continuing project from the identity design aims at providing the easy-to-access research platform for the benefits of public usages. Inspired by the structure of a newspaper; we design and arrange the website contents according to newspaper layouts, be it the headings, the columns, or the grid systems. And to make it most resourceful, we also analyse the content format and the up-to-date articles before crafting for users the platform that gives the easiest and most satisfying experience.
